Add ability to set digital object latitude/longitude and optionally show map on description pages
|Target version:||Release 2.4.0|
|Google Code Legacy ID:||Tested version:|
This feature will allow users several new ways to associate and make available geolocation information with digital objects.
First, we will add latitude and longitude fields to the digital object metadata area. Second, a setting will be added that will allow users to generate a dynamic Google map from these lat/long values, which will display in the digital object metadata area. Finally, the lat/long information will be added to the Visible elements module, so users can determine if they want this information displayed publicly or not.
#6 Updated by Mike Cantelon over 3 years ago
- Status changed from Feedback to QA/Review
- Assignee changed from Mike Cantelon to Nick Wilkinson
This was merged so ready for QA (I think this issue wasn't updated as it was forgotten during a period where we considered keeping the issue open to add additional functionality but, in the end, decided against it).
