Description
First reported via the User Forum, 2016-12-18: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/ica-atom-users/k9A088goayM/K45TiyebEAAJ
Reproduced in qa/2.4.x
To reproduce- Load some test data (e.g. the demo data) that includes both file and item-level descriptions
- In my dataset: 71 file-level descriptions, 282 item-level descriptions
- Navigate to Manage > Taxonomies > Levels of description
- Change the term "Item" to read "File" and save
- From the command-line, run the taxonomy normalize task for the LOD taxonomy
- Return to Browse > archival descriptions, look at all results:
- Navigate to what was formerly an item-level record:
- Existing item term is not in fact merged with File
- Count of files in Browse > archival description is unchanged
- All item-level records now have no level of description
- File and (our edited) item terms are merged
- Count of files in Browse > archival description should now be: 71 + 282
- All records previously with item LOD should now have File as LOD
