If a deaccession record is created for whole or part of an accession, and then the deaccession record is deleted, the accession record no longer appears in the list of accession records (manage accessions). If the deaccession record is created for an accrual, or the accession is linked to an archival description, the missing accession record is visible from the parent accession or description, and can be edited - clicking save brings it back into the list from manage accessions.

To recreate: first instance
  • Create an accession record
  • Create an accrual (appears as an accession record in the list - manage accessions)
  • Create a deaccession record for the accrual
  • Delete the deaccession record
  • Now the accrual record does not appear in the list, but can still be accessed from the original accession record
  • Navigate to the accrual record from the accession record
  • Open edit screen, click save
  • Accrual record reappears in the manage accessions list

  • To recreate: second instance
  • Generate accession record
  • Generate an archival description from the accession record, follow same steps using the description to navigate to the accession record
To recreate: third instance
  • Generate accession record
  • Generate deaccession record
  • Delete deaccession record
  • Original accession record can't be found
