Google Code Legacy ID: Tested version:2.4, 2.5

  • Perform a global search that will return some records - e.g. coffee
  • Notice that on the results page, results are sorted by Relevance
  • Now use the advanced search panel to modify the search term - coffee OR tea
Resulting error
  • Results returned default to browse sort global settings instead of returning results based on relevance
Expected result
  • Searches based on keywords should always default to relevance when presenting results
  • Users should be able to revise their search parameters and still see results sorted by relevance
