Upload status message in Access tab doesn't change
|Google Code Legacy ID:||archivematica-890||Pull Request:|
It remains at "Deposited asynchronously, Qubit is processing the DIP in the job queue" even after the DIP has finished uploading.

The issue is, that once a job is delegated to Gearman then the dashboard is no longer in the loop. There needs to be a way for the logic on the AtoM side to communicate back to the dashboard completion. The problem with this is the dashboard may be firewalled. More clumsily, the access tab can poll, asking AtoM (for any unresolved jobs) if it has completed them.
For the polling option, we'd probably want to add some logic to qtSwordPluginWorker.class.php in AtoM to record success to the database. Maybe the success of the deposit could be created as a property of the destination information object? Then a call to an AtoM endpoint enabled by the SWORD plugin could report success or failure of the last deposit attempt.
To allow for multiple DIP uploads to the same information object we should, if we're not already, pass some the ID from the Accesses table to AtoM via SWORD so the property added to the information object includes this ID and the lookup for a DIP upload's success can incorporate the ID.

- Status changed from New to Feedback
- Assignee changed from Mike Cantelon to Evelyn McLellan
Status updating isn't part of the SWORD standard and it'll take a bit of time to add (maybe not long, but hard to say exactly how long). As a workaround we can probably remove the upload status message and have the user check AtoM for status.

This is unsponsored, and would require code changes in both Archivematica and Atom. Possible solution would be to update to Sword v2, where the dashboard could poll atom using the state-iri. Even that is not an ideal workflow.
I am removing this ticket from the 1.1 release queue, for future evaluation.
