To reproduce this error:

1)Upload a doc, odt or ppt file
Resulting error:

Media type is "other"
Expected result:
================
Media type should be "text". This is a serious problem because no reference
display copy is made, and users who are not logged in cannot download the
files. If they were processed as text, users who were not logged in would
be able to download the files, which is the desired bahaviour for textual
records.
