Linking accessions to one or more existing fonds was also raised by SFU in a review of the Accession module. There is currently no way to do this in ICa-AtoM; you can create a new description from an accession, but not a link to an existing description.
Recommendation: This is needed for management purposes and statistics. Add field (Unit of description) that links accession to fonds or series (highest level). Allow multiple values for cases in which accession contains records from multiple fonds.
