Description

To reproduce this issue
  1. Begin typing a search query in the search bar - such as "uni" (for university)
  2. As facets for archival institutions appear below the search string, notice that several universities will be listed, with the option to view all matching institituions
  3. Select "all matching institutions."

Resulting error
Search term is literal - "uni" returns no results, though the facet suggests that there will be browsable matches.

Expected result
It seems as if it might be better to search the term as "uni*" and produce a list of fuzzy search results, sorted by relevancy. Ideally, the string could be highlighted within the term in the results, to clarify the relationship. Otherwise, search/browse for institutions (and all other elements besides archival descriptions) needs to be improved, as the search bar facets currently offer the only means to search these elements.

I will be filing a separate issue (#5277) for improving search/browse for other archival elements, but I've filed the ticket here to specifically address the relationship with faceted search results and usability, and to hold developer discussion about fuzzy search and/or multiple wildcard search (ex: uni*) as a means of improving usability - there may be better solutions, but the issue remains.

Clarifying title - I think this is a BAD idea for all searching, but something we should do to fix the autcomplete "All matching descriptions" - and I suggest not using a fuzzy operator, but a wildcard.
