Radda, make sure that the reference exists before you use it. In some cases, there may not be a reference representation of the digital object.

Radda, what reference were you trying to call - i.e., what kind of export should i attempt/what record should I create to reproduce and ensure this is fixed? Please give us a step by step explanation of what you were exporting so we can test and verify the fix. Thanks.

Sorry, I should have added some notes.

In order to reproduce the issue, it's needed:

- A digital object without reference. For example any imported doc, xls or rtf file.

- An user with "Access reference" and without "Access Master" permissions for archival descriptions.

The expected result is no errors and no <dao> element in the EAD file. Also if a digital object with reference is exported by the same user, the EAD file should have a <dao> element with role="reference".

Tested with an RTF file - no problems. Also tested with an image file - I went in and manually deleted the reference image while keeping the Master image. Also no problems. Marking verified.
