Description

Currently, thanks to development for ArchivesCanada, GMD has been added as a facet in the Advanced search menu. However, this filter/facet only applies to the RAD template, and should not be shown if the app is generally displaying records in ISAD or other standards.

I would suggest taking this a bit further - even if RAD is the default template, GMD will not necessarily be used. A couple options occur to me (which could be done in combination)
- make the value list an auto-complete list (this is how it worked in the original SK customization)
- make it configurable (through admin settings) whether the facet appears.

I prefer the first option, since users will not be able to search for values that don't appear. (Even if GMD is used they might not all get used.) And if I'm counting right, there are only 10 possible GMDs, so the usual confusion re the autocomplete shouldn't come up.
