Description
Navigate to Admin > groups and select a group
Switch to Archival description permissions tab for that group
Click edit
Note that it says "Permissions by item" for adding granular records-permissions.
This is misleading, since "item" is also a level of description in AtoM, but users can add permissions to specific fonds, sous-founds, series, files, items, etc.
Should be changed in all relevant areas. Possible alternative: "Permissions by record"
Same changes should be made in Admin > Users

I couldn't find that phrase. Maybe it's already fixed?
But I noticed that a lot of labels in this sections (Archival description for example) haven't the first letter in lowercase when they're not in the begining of the sentence. Shouldn't we change that?

You have to click edit in the archival description permissions tab to see it. See attached screenshot.
I think that some start with an upper case letter mid-sentence (like "Permissions by Archival description") because we are re-using the strings. We could maybe fix it, but I don't think it's a high priority, esp not if it will be complicated to do.
If you think it will be easy and won't add a lot of code, file a new issue for it and go for it! ;)

Hi Dan,
I think the site where you're testing has the 'informationobject' label populated with 'item'. Please, can you check it in Admin/Settings/User interface labels?
I've also made lowercase the first letter of the labels when needed. There is a lot of it in all the groups/user pages.

It was already set - but the issue is fixed too - so maybe someone else (Jessica? Jesus? You?) already changed the label. Sorry about that! Thanks for fixing the case of the labels too! :D
