Reproduced. Additionally, the pencil icon does not produce change the cursor to a hand cursor (typical of hovering over hyperlinks in most web environments) for related archival descriptions - though clicking the pencil will still call up the relationships dialog.

This is a bigger issue than the pencil icon. Once a relationship has been added, clicking the "Relationships" area header to enter edit mode causes a white screen. Clicking edit and then trying to remove the relationship, then saving, also causes a white screen. Also occurring in Rights related to archival descriptions - see #5670

The pencil icon not working to edit a relationship is also happening on the Rights dialogue - once a rights record has been added, clicking the pencil has no effect. Clicking "delete" (X) will cause an error - see #5670

I was also getting the white screen, but then I couldn't reproduce it, so I'm glad you found this.

At least a couple times I was also getting a duplicated entry if I edited and saved the relationship before saving the authority record. I believe this appeared after going back to the edit screen, following the white screen, and it was in that scenario that I was getting the white screen.

Also clicking on the "Relationships" area header to enter edit mode causes the page to load improperly - user is pushed down to the bottom of the page, instead of the edit page loading with the selected area header at the top of the screen.

Relationship can now be edited and deleted.

However,

1) Clicking on "Relationships" Area header to enter edit mode still causes the record to open improperly - the user is still booted down to the bottom of the screen

2) Hovering over the pencil icon for editing the relationship does not produce the hand/pointer mouse icon, traditionally associated with a clickable object.

The basic issue outlined in this issue ticket has been addressed though - let me know if you want me to file lower-priority, separate issue tickets for these 2 problems above

I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe send me a screenshot? But definitely in a different issue, I don't think this is really blocking the user from editing the realtionship as the title of this issue stands.

This is a major issue affecting other parts of the app. Yes, please, file a new issue, it's not urgent (not 2.0.0!)

See issue #4616 for the page-loading error when relationship area header is clicked. See #5696 for the pencil icon.
