Currently searches only the beginning of the Name string- it might be helpful in some use cases to be able to search the middle or part of the string, depending on how repositories code their location names.

I agree with Sarah that this feature could definitely use improvement - it's also not making use of ES, instead hitting the DB directly with an SQL query.

That said, this is a feature that was added by a community developer and offered to AtoM via a pull request. I think that, since we had no search for the Physical storage module previously, we should accept this, make sure we document clearly how it works (and how it doesn't) in the 2.1 user manual, and then aim to improve it later - the entire physical storage module would benefit from an overhaul, actually. If we ever have the resources to do this, we can look at switching the search box to use Elasticsearch, enabling full-text searching, etc.
