Description

The php symfony tools:purge command will empty a database of all of its data - current 2.1 documentation of this tool can be found here: https://www.accesstomemory.org/en/docs/2.1/admin-manual/maintenance/cli-tools/#purging-all-data

This new CLI flag or option has been added for developers who are often working with test sites, and needing to regularly purge their test instances of data.

When the --demo flag is added to the purge command, it will do the following:

  • It will NOT ask for confirmation before purging all data (warning is removed)
  • It will repopulate the site with a default demo use (user: pass: demo)
  • It will add a temporary site title to the installation - "Demo site"
