Correction, should be ffmpeg -convert file.mp3 -ar 44100 file.wav.

-convert is not a flag in my version of ffmpeg,

will the command:
ffmpeg -i file.mp3 -ar 44100 file.wav

work?

#3 Updated by Evelyn McLellan over 10 years ago

yes, sorry, I was mixing up ffmpeg with ImageMagick.

Remove -ar 44100 from command, since upsampling is unnecessary and increases file size.
