Description

This option is needed to allow Finding Aid's generated like public users.

If the option is set:

Draft descriptions (and their descendants) won't be added to the EAD xml
If physical storage is hidden for public view in visible elements, physical location won't be added either

Did not work. Testing steps:

  • Create a description, mark as public
  • Create two child descriptions - set one as draft, other as public.
  • Run bulk export command using --public option, like so:
    php symfony export:bulk --public /path/to/my/export-folder

(Note: you can also use other CLI task options to make the export more targeted. For this testing, I did not)

  • Find test export, and open in text-editor
  • Verify that the published child description is present, but that the draft child is not.

In this case, both draft and published child descriptions were still present in the EAD output.

Fixed. I have also added a check for the top-level descriptions if the public option is set. Before it was only checking the descendants but, if the top-level description was 'Draft', it was being exported. Now it will only export 'Published' top-level descriptions and their published descendants.
