Description

The user may decide to exclude some SIP files from the AIP. They are instructed to do this during the 4-appraiseSIP step. Archivematica needs to log those files that were included in the SIP but excluded from the AIP.

Q - Where should this list be maintained?
A - As a PREMIS Event Entity in the PREMIS section of the AIP's METS.XML file? i.e. event = destruction, rejection

A PREMIS Event appears to make the most sense to me. The PREMIS Data Dictionary also lists "deletion" and "deaccession" to be possible candidates, but I'd be happy to consider other nominations.

Yes, thanks Mark. "deletion" sounds like the appropriate value to use based on the usage notes for eventType in the PREMIS Data Dictionary.

I R confused.
Are we including the premis for deleted files in the mets? y/n

As of now there are events - I think I named the events wrong, but that's a simple fix.
There is also a list of files removed.

In 0.7 we are creating a log of files that have been deleted, which will be added to the logs directory. No PREMIS metadata will be generated.
