Description

Now that we have a tab specifically dedicated to derivatives in the admin->settings page, it makes sense to move the "Maximum image width (pixels)" setting to there.

  • Requires documentation set to Yes

Will require updates to the settings page documentation. Be specific about how this setting works with other tasks - e.g. CLI regen-derivs task, etc.

#2 Updated by Dan Gillean over 3 years ago

Notes:

  • The digital object regenerate derivatives task WILL respect the user settings applied in this feature
  • Note that the maximum display width in AtoM is 628px - any bigger would break the layout - so images are scaled to fit this width in the view page
  • However, if you right-click and view the reference display copy image, it will display in the dimensions set
